Naveena Naqvi talks about the history of Persianate South Asia at the dawn of colonialism

Naveena Naqvi is at Yale as the Singh Visiting Fellow in the South Asian Studies Council. She is a historian of early modern and modern South Asia and her research interests include the Persianate world of the13th-19th centuries, the history of political Islam, and the social history of Hindustani music.
